Pink-Orange-Nude Summery Ombre Nails

Summer is drawing to a close, and how better to celebrate summer than using some fun nail colors! I used Wet 'n' Wild Megalast in Candy-licious on the tips, followed with Nicole OPI in Dream Catcher in the middle, and Milani Nail Lacquer in Thai Tea for the rest of the nail. This resulted in a pretty, pink to nude transition, although I probably should have added a topcoat and base coat of some sort. The nail polish managed to last 5 days without chipping, which I was pleasantly surprised with, since I did buy the Wet 'n' Wild Megalast for $1 at the local dollar store!

I think the end result was fun, flirty, and it really made my fingers look longer from further away. My sister commented that she couldn't see where the base of my nail begun, which gives my fingers kind of an elegant elongating effect. Overall, I really like this color combo, and I'll probably try something with dark blue, neon green and nude for fall or winter! What are your favorite color combos?

Thanks for joining me!
