Review: Tony Moly Tomatox Brightening Massage Pack

As you all know, Asians love their whitening products, and I'm no exception! I tanned a little more than I would have liked this summer, making me a NC 20, but I hope to remedy it with some Whitening/Brightening packs. I bought two of the Tony Moly Tomatox Brightening Massage Packs in my Korean Cosmetics haul and I couldn't wait to dig in!

The Tomatox did not have too much of a scent, if I were to describe it in one word, it'd probably be fresh, or crisp. The cream itself was very easy to apply, and it came with a small, clear flat spatula to dispense products, which to be honest, is probably one of the most useless things, next in ranking to the applicators they give out with palette purchases.

I usually don't like having products with large open mouths, because I feel that they're unsanitary, but I think that this product has some good points. I used it after I cleaned and dried my face, and massaged it on for around 2 minutes. I left it on my face for around 10 minutes, rinsed it off with warm water, dried my face and applied my toner.

As you can see in my before and after pictures (I know my skin is faaar from perfect, please excuse my acne scarring), both taken under the same lighting conditions with no Photoshop, other than cropping and placing them together, there is a noticeable difference in the before and after, particularly in my forehead area. I have not used the product enough to determine if this is permanent, but I did notice that if you don't rinse your skin off carefully, you will have a small white film left on your skin.

I feel that this massage pack is probably better suited for morning use, after washing your face, but before putting on toner/moisturizer/sunscreen/bbcream. I'll test it further and report the findings here!

Thanks for joining me!
